The Science Behind KeraFactor™ Scalp Stimulating Solution for Hair Regrowth

The Science Behind KeraFactor™ Scalp Stimulating Solution for Hair Regrowth

Thinning hair doesn’t have to be an inevitability or something you just accept. You don’t have to turn to invasive procedures like hair plugs or solutions that are only mildly effective, either. With the latest solutions brought forward by clinical science, we offer a different path.

At Heights Aesthetic Laser Center in Brooklyn, our team offers the groundbreaking KeraLase hair growth treatment, which combines KeraFactor™ scalp-stimulating solution and LaseMD fractional laser treatment to deliver maximal results.

If you’re struggling with hair loss, here’s a quick look at what this treatment can do for you.

Like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) — but better

A new hair regrowth treatment has entered the scene: PRP. This treatment works by delivering growth factors to your hair follicles, stimulating those that have stopped growing hair to restart the hair production process, while delivering support for functioning hair follicles to grow the thickest hair possible.

Although PRP can help with hair thinning and loss, the results can be inconsistent. PRP is derived from a sample of your own blood, which means it only uses the growth factors you already have naturally occurring. In fact, your blood might even contain a specific growth factor (TGF b1) that can block new hair growth.

To seize the opportunity presented by PRP but deliver more reliable results, we use the KeraFactor scalp-stimulating solution. It consists of seven polypeptides with the targeted hair growth factors you need, plus skin proteins to support hair and scalp health. Scientists specifically formulated KeraFactor to achieve several purposes at once:

To ensure the KeraFactor works as efficiently as possible, we prepare your scalp with the LaseMD laser. This quickly creates microchannels in your scalp to allow the KeraFactor to penetrate deeper, driving better results. LaseMD is designed to work quickly (in about 5-10 minutes) with minimal discomfort. Studies have shown that it can help to enhance skin absorption by more than five times.

Maintaining your hair regrowth results

Many of our patients achieve results with one treatment every two weeks over a period of 12 weeks. At that point, we can provide you with at-home KeraFactor products to support your scalp health and maintain your healthy hair.

Then, as age-related hair loss occurs naturally through the years, we can help you combat it. We’ve available for re-treatment any time you want to boost your head of healthy, naturally growing hair.

With our KeraLase hair regrowth treatment, we leverage the latest science to help you get a full head of hair. If you want to learn more or schedule a consultation, don’t hesitate to call our office, or make your appointment online today.
