After receiving LaseMD patients experience a glowing appearance with noticeably smoother, healthier, younger looking skin.

Here at Heights Aesthetic Laser Center, we offer two treatments with LaseMD: The Halo Facial and Fractional LaseMD. The difference between the two comes down to the intensity needed to achieve your aesthetic goal.

The Halo Facial is a gentle version of Fractional LaseMD; for when you need a pick me up. The Halo facial provides smooth skin and almost immediate results with little to no downtime. Fractional LaseMD is a more intense form of laser treatment that penetrates deeper into the epidermis, yielding the same amazing results, but enhanced. Because Fractional LaseMD is a more aggressive treatment, the healing process may take a few days more.

Which LaseMD treatment you need all depends on your individual skin type and goals.

You can receive the Halo Facial or Fractional LaseMD alone or you have the option to add a session to the end of another aesthetic treatment to enhance the results. Treatments you can add LaseMD to include facials, MDPen Microneedling, and RF Micronnedling.

How does LaseMD work?

The laser works by forming microchannels in the patient’s skin without causing surface trauma. This allows the body to kickstart its natural healing response triggering the body into producing collagen and elastin; the two proteins widely responsible for the youthfulness and elasticity of your skin.

What happens during treatment with Fractional LaseMD?

Your experienced provider at Heights Aesthetic Laser Center will develop a personalized LaseMD treatment plan during your initial consultation. As the procedure begins you may feel some heat and a tingling sensation as the laser passes over your skin. Depending on your desired goals and treatment plan, your provider may apply numbing cream to the area to maximize comfort.

How long is the downtime for LaseMD?

You may notice an improvement in the tone and texture of your skin soon after your first LaseMD treatment. Immediately following your LaseMD treatment you will experience some redness that should begin to subside within a few hours or the following day. It is important patients avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen after receiving LaseMD.
