Is it Bad to Wash your Face too Much?

                How much is too much when it comes to washing your face? It is most common to wash your face in the morning to start your day and at night before you go to bed. The answer is different for every individual because each person has a different skin type. If the same methods worked for everyone, we would all have perfect skin with no issues! Washing your face too much or too little can lead to your skin having a bad reaction. Each skin type requires a different skin care process. 

Dry Skin:

                On the opposite hand, people with oily or acne prone skin are recommended to wash their face twice a day in the morning and at night! The reason for this is people with oily skin tend to get more buildup, dirt, bacteria, and more throughout the day. Washing in the morning and night helps to prevent breaking out as well as keep excess oils in the face under control. Foaming and gel cleansers are great for helping people with oily or acne skin types.

Combination:

                If you have combination skin, it is recommended to wash your face twice a day morning and night. Just like oily skin, it is necessary in order to remove any oil buildup and dirt from the skin. Because of the combination skin, people experience both skin types so there is no limitation to specific cleaner recommendations. Foam cleansers are always a good option, but there is definitely some freedom to try different ones to find what works for you.

                It is important not to over-wash or under wash your face so you don’t experience any bad side effects on either end.
